18-year-old Alisher lives in Uzbekistan. He's in love and is due to become a father, but he can't feed his family in a country suffering from massive unemployment.
Synopsis
He finds a job in Russia - 3500 miles away from his wife and the now-born child. Directors Magnus Gertten and Elin Jönsson portray a love that's put to the test, as a result of social deprivation and exploitation.
